Espresso Coffee Dangers


Are you still drink a cup of espresso coffee to boost energy every day? It is better to change your drink on this one. Recent research found the University of Palermo Italy, one cup of espresso reduce blood flow to the heart by 22 percent after an hour of drinking it. However, this study also confirmed that large amounts of caffeine do not harm the cardiovascular system.

The researchers found one cup of espresso (30 ml) contains 107 mg of caffeine, while one cup of instant coffee contains 75 mg of caffeine. One cup of black coffee has a value even higher caffeine, 120 mg.

The doctors do not recommend drinking more than five cups of espresso every day even though they agree that each person has a different sensitivity to caffeine.
Up to now not known whether high antioxidants in coffee causes an imbalance effects on the heart and blood vessels. Previous studies indicate regular coffee consumption reduce the risk of Alzheimer's disease and esophageal cancer.
